Medsaic is a life sciences company utilizing proteomics in its novel micro array platform to create a range of diagnostics services which can form the centre point for personalized medicine. Medsaic's proprietary technology, DotScan, is a specialised product for the diagnosis of hematological malignancies, solid tissue tumors and autoimmune diseases. It is based on cell capture by micro arrays of antibodies bound to nitrocellulose-coated microscope slides.  The company was originally formed by the University of Sydney to commercialise patented intellectual property covering protein micro arrays. In this interview with Dr Jeremy Chrisp, the CEO of Medsaic, we learn more about the platform technology and the unique uses of this platform in a range of clinical applications and their push into relevant markets.
